Grocery Delivery Digest

June 9, 2020

Peter Cook, Publisher

This is an interesting week for delivery. Some of the developments with companies like Uber Eats, Grubhub and Instacart are inching towards a head. At the same time, grocers like Food Lion and Kroger are advancing to bigger and better things. And looking across the map, companies in South America, China and a few in Africa are deepening their involvement in the delivery realm as well.
In the midst of all of this, it is difficult to ignore some of the changes happening due to the protests and instituted curfews. This is affecting everyone, including some of these major companies. However, as things progress and change, a lot of things stay the same. There are always really good people looking out for each other; this important trend is expressed in the last two articles of the digest. They’re small stories, but these people have the biggest impact. There’s a lot to enjoy, so while you catch your breath, catch up on some of the latest news in delivery.
