Grocery Delivery Digest

April 27, 2021

Peter Cook, Publisher

Well, folks, this week’s newsletter is brief, but there’s some very good material. A topic that has been developed more and more recently is 15 minute grocery delivery. On the international front, this concept has scaled, but it’s only the beginning of the beginning here in the United States. The Wall Street Journal posted an interesting article on the concept earlier this week. But contrast 15 minute delivery with the recent news from Kroger. They announced the opening of their fulfillment center with Ocado, which promises reliable delivery, but maybe not speed. The article “E-Grocery and the Evolving Need for Speed” covers this question well.

We would love to meet you this May in San Antonio! The Grocery Delivery Update will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas, do some networking and rally after a year of separation. Register via the banner below.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your week! Keep up the good work, and next time you have a minute for a break, enjoy your Grocery Delivery Digest.
