Spirits Sales + Marketing Digest

February 22, 2022

Nick Cook, Publisher

Many press releases over the past week.

Two of the bigger highlights are:

  1. 512 Tequila sues 818 Tequila for “trademark infringement, false designation of origin, and unfair competition.” Now, while I imagine that Kendall Jenner has the resources to develop a brand that starts from scratch, there are enough similarities to raise an eyebrow…
  2. Endless West just bought a giant warehouse in NW Detroit for over $3 million. While we haven’t seen anything from the company regarding this new real estate, it will be interesting to follow for sure. With their new cash infusion, are they launching an Eastern US Distillery? We will keep you posted.

Lots more to catch up on as Delaware makes cocktails-to-go permanent, Utah could ban ethyl alcohol-based flavorings from grocery stores, and lots of Texas spirits companies making some good press.

And now, the news…

Issue #9
