Pronghorn’s investments in black-owned spirits start to gain momentum in the news this week. In an effort to increase representation in the spirits industry more in line with the demographics of the population of spirits consumers, the funding gives much-needed capital to emerging brands. It will be interesting to watch how consumers respond though. The most important piece is customer satisfaction and enjoyment, and many of their investments reflect that (sweet potato vodka from Delta Dirt winning double gold at SFWS).
