REEF, the largest operator of delivery kitchens, logistics, and proximity hubs in North America, and Americana Group, the largest Food & Beverage operator in the Middle East region, announced a joint venture to open cloud kitchens that will operate REEF, Americana and third party brands throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Connecting France and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a first of its kind strategic tech partnership, Foodics, the leading cloud-based restaurant management technology and payments platform in the MENA region, has today announced it has partnered with French-based tech start-up Partoo, who help brands manage and increase their presence online in order to further grow their business.

Instead of riders picking up completed orders from a shelf, kitchen staff will place the orders inside a kitchen portal, where they will be picked up by a robotic shuttle to be sorted and handed to a rider when ready.

Maristo Hospitality, a growing hospitality group, has welcomed the nine fast-casual brand German Doner Kebab outlets in the UAE to its portfolio. Maristo Hospitality will take over responsibility for the nine German Doner Kebab restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and has committed to expanding to 25 locations, including brick-and-mortar outlets and cloud kitchens, over the coming years.
