Grocery Delivery Digest

June 1, 2021

Welcome back! We hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. This was a big week for Instacart as they announced the opening of “Priority Delivery”. This will throw Instacart into the pool of fast grocery delivery providers along with Fridge No More and Gorillas. The methods of delivery also continue to become more innovative. Showcasing this trend is Volvo who announced their work with Albertsons to deliver groceries via zero-emission delivery trucks. As this expands, will it set precedent for other delivery vehicles down the road?

There’s a lot of very good material this week. We hope you enjoy this issue of your Delivery Digest!
