Grocery Delivery Digest

October 14, 2020

Peter Cook, Publisher

From new delivery platforms to successful investing rounds and much more, this has been a week packed with news related to food delivery. A couple of the bigger indications of this movement are Little Caesar’s announcement that they will now be working with DoorDash; and Lyft’s new arrangement to create deals on Grubhub for customers.

One trend that seems to be developing a greater speed is the emergence of MFC’s, also known as micro-fulfillment centers. For example, Swisslog recently partnered with H.E.B. to begin developing an MFC for the Texas-based grocery store.

No matter what happens in food delivery, rest assured that we’ll be bringing you all the best. We hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week. Enjoy your Delivery Digest!
