Tyler grew up in the business as his mom started and ran restaurants in Seoul, Korea and then in LA. He studied Psychology, Political Science, and Accounting at UCLA and went into corporate finance. He worked on M&A, recap, restructuring/workout/bankruptcy, and loan syndication transactions across a variety of industries including hospitality, retail, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation. After investing in a local restaurant in Dallas and unable to find a commissary kitchen for his chef-partner, he founded Revolving Kitchen with his mission to provide turnkey commercial kitchen facilities to start and grow food businesses cheaper, faster, and more profitable.
