The Backhouse Brands product suite includes a B2B marketplace for creating and licensing virtual brands, proprietary web and tablet order management tools, omnichannel reporting, and 24/7 live order monitoring and tracking by real agents.
Prior to co-founding Backhouse Brands, Derrick spent 10 years abroad leading emerging technology and innovation teams in Turkey, Qatar and Iraq. He founded a location-based restaurant technology startup in Qatar in 2015 and eventually found his way back to Minnesota at the height of the pandemic in 2020, where he went on to partner with David Carlson from Food Dudes Delivery and the team from Great North Ventures to launch Backhouse Brands.
