The Good Kind

As a former line cook, server, and journalist, I have a deep love and appreciation for restaurant owners and their entrepreneurial spirit. To me, restaurants are where memories are made and life is celebrated. There is nothing more rewarding than helping these business owners and community leaders succeed.

For more than 14 years, I have helped restaurant industry and technology companies connect and move the industry forward while developing revenue generating campaigns to attract customers and enhance market share.

With a background in tech, journalism, and trade associations, I have a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry but remain curious enough to challenge the status quo frequently.

I have been honored frequently as a national and international media resource and industry conference speaker. I have addressed subjects involving food service technology trends, mobile payment systems, virtual restaurants, online ordering and delivery, product innovation and marketing. I love sharing information and stories from the stage and am always happy to participate in events as a moderator, panelist, or other speaker.

I serve on the advisory board for SXSW Interactive, an influential global conference and networking event and I am honored to be the current President of Les Dames d’Escoffier, Austin Chapter.

I hold a Master of Arts in Journalism and Public Policy from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, with an emphasis on political communication, from Texas State University.
