Ghost kitchens continue to make their stamp in the restaurant industry with new expansions and concept developments. Beyond Uber Eats’ recently announced acquisition of Postmates, many restaurant groups are taking the virtual restaurant idea and running with it. Take, for example, Virtual Dining Concepts and Franklin Junction; this week both of these companies have announced the development of new virtual brands, and they’re not the only ones. The first story in the newsletter describes a cool new partnership between Zuul and Thrillest – a story worth reading up on.
